SINGING: Body and Soul

An adult all-levels (yes, you too, you shy beginner), playful exploration of unison and harmony singing through physical and vocal expression. Be prepared to move, sound, and sing songs of community, soul-searching, and peace making.

About facilitator Susan Merrill: Susan's circuits light up when she's writing and singing songs, teaching, telling stories, or dancing. As a workshop facilitator, she fosters the spirits of curiosity, humor, and individual expression. Teaching arenas have included: voice, piano, drama, and creative process. Trained in music at San Antonio College and Trinity University, she holds a B.A. in Drama and Speech with graduate study in speech therapy. Currently, she leads Grow Your Voice, a bimonthly vocal workshop. She also composes and performs a singing journal, Wheel of Song.
